The point of this quiz is to find a piece of fabric in each of these colors and hold it up under your face.

Use any items for testing—clothes, towels, pillowcases, or even construction paper.
The more colors you test, the better, because you'll gather more information.
Look in the mirror
As you bring each color into view, look at a spot on your cheek, about an inch or two above the jawline, and see whether your skin color appears clear and healthy, or distorted in some way.
To understand what you're looking for, read how to tell when a color doesn't go.
(And make sure you have normal color vision, or none of this will work for you.)
Rule out one set of colors
Whichever set you're selecting, imagine ruling out the other set.
Example
For cool vs. warm, I'm ruling out the warmer colors.
It's not like I'm sure all these cool colors look good on me (they don't). But I'm certain the warm colors are even worse.
I pick Cooler colors.

Don't worry if you're torn
There are three sets of questions. As long as you can confidently pick at least one set of colors, the quiz will work.
